Albert Lee
One of the most respected and renowned guitarists in music history, Albert Lee has worked with The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets over his long and illustrious career.
The British-born country-rock artist started his career during the
emerging rock ‘n’ roll scene of ‘60s London, when he swapped bands with the likes of Jimmy Page and Chris Farlowe. After moving to the U.S. and assimilating himself into the country music scene, Albert quickly garnered a reputation as one of the fastest guitar players in the business. He recorded a number of solo albums, and won a Grammy in 2002 for his contribution on Foggy Mountain Breakdown. He continues to tour today, and plays his signature Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar.

Good Golly Miss Molly
One of the biggest hits in New Vic history, Good Golly Miss Molly is a powerful, music-fuelled, feel-good drama that bursts back onto the stage this spring as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations
At the frontline of a community fighting for survival, their vibrant street faces demolition. But Molly Gordon and her band of neighbours are refusing to go quietly. Gathered together in the local workingmen’s club, Molly’s even managed to reunite her former rock ‘n’ roll band, Ronnie Devil and The Angels.
As the fate of their homes is decided, the residents of Victoria Street relive the community’s past, and the triumphs and tragedies of their daily lives. But is there a future for their street?
Pulsing with energy, nostalgia and a foot-stomping soundtrack of rock ‘n’ roll hits from an era gone by, Good Golly Miss Molly charts the history of one local community against a backdrop of social turmoil, societal changes and tumultuous friendships. A story of defiance, solidarity and unbreakable community spirit in the face of adversity, this feel-good show is as relevant as ever!
